The head of the Delegation, Mariana Kuijundžić, presented her letter of appointment to Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov congratulated Mariana Kuijundžić on her appointment and wished her success in her activities in our country.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on various issues of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EU, including political, economic, energy, transport-communications, humanitarian, and other directions.
The importance of joint energy projects implemented by our country with the EU was emphasized. Interest was expressed in developing cooperation in other significant areas.
Jeyhun Bayramov also provided the other side with detailed information about the current situation and realities in the region during the post-conflict period.
The importance of the agreements reached within the framework of the Washington meeting for advancing the peace agenda initiated by our country, the initialing of the peace treaty, and the decision regarding the abolition of the OSCE Minsk process and related structures, which are remnants of the former conflict, was noted.
The head of the Delegation, Mariana Kuijundžić, expressed her gratitude for the reception and noted that she would spare no effort in advancing the Azerbaijan-EU agenda during her tenure.
During the meeting, views were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
