Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, received Major General Ersin Dinçer, the newly appointed military attaché of the Republic of Turkey to our country.
Modern.az reports that the Minister of Defense greeted the Turkish guest and congratulated him on the occasion of starting his activity in our country.
Colonel General Z. Hasanov specifically emphasized that Azerbaijan-Turkey relations are based on friendship, brotherhood, and strategic alliance, and their development in the field of military cooperation, as in other areas, wishing the new military attaché success in his future activities towards further enhancing this cooperation.
Major General E. Dinçer, in turn, expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality shown, stating that he was proud to start his activity as a military attaché in Azerbaijan. He stated that he would work diligently for the further development of military cooperation between our countries.
At the meeting, which was also attended by Major General Gaffar Gören, who completed his military attaché activities in Azerbaijan, a broad exchange of views was held on new prospects for cooperation in military, military-technical, military-educational, and other fields, as well as on a number of issues of mutual interest.
