Head of the Delegation Mariana Kuijinci presented her letter of appointment to Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov congratulated Mariana Kuijinci on her appointment and wished her success in her activities in our country.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was held on cooperation issues between Azerbaijan and the EU in various areas, including political, economic, energy, transport-communications, humanitarian, and others.
The importance of joint energy projects implemented by our country with the EU was emphasized. Interest was expressed in developing cooperation in other significant areas.
Jeyhun Bayramov also provided the other side with detailed information on the current situation and realities in the region during the post-conflict period.
In advancing the peace agenda initiated by our country, the agreements reached within the framework of the Washington meeting, the initialing of the peace treaty, and the importance of the decision regarding the abolition of the OSCE Minsk Process and related structures, which are remnants of the former conflict, were noted.
Head of the Delegation Mariana Kuijinci expressed her gratitude for the reception and stated that she would spare no effort in advancing the Azerbaijan-EU agenda during her tenure.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was also held on other issues of mutual interest.
