The return of former internally displaced persons to the liberated territories continues. Today, the keys to apartments were presented to families who arrived in the rebuilt city of Kalbajar with a resettlement convoy.
Modern.az reports that in this phase, 32 families – 139 people – have been resettled in Kalbajar city. Those returning to Kalbajar with the resettlement convoy consisted of families who had been temporarily settled in various parts of the republic, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.
Officials from the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kalbajar district and the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons participated in the ceremony of presenting the keys to their homes to the families.
Families resettled for permanent residence in Kalbajar city have been provided with apartments in newly constructed buildings.
