The next mobile medical examination campaign, organized by “AzerGold” CJSC with the support of the Baku Health Center, has successfully concluded in Dashkasan district.
Modern.az reports that residents of Çovdar village, located near the “Çovdar” gold mine, Shadakh settlement, Çaykənd, Quşçu, Bayan, and other villages benefited from various free medical services for 3 days during the campaign organized under the motto “Health First!”.
On the first day of the campaign, families of martyrs, as well as veterans and war participants, were involved in the examinations. A professional medical team examined over 300 residents, providing services such as general surgery, pediatric surgery, otorhinolaryngology, therapy, rheumatology, endocrinology, cardiology, neuropathology, pediatrics, ultrasound (USM), echocardiography (EXO), electrocardiography (EKQ), general blood and urine analysis, viral hepatitis detection in blood, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, and blood sugar determination.
A total of 1317 medical services were provided to residents in the mentioned areas. Citizens diagnosed with various diseases during the examinations were prescribed appropriate treatment courses.
It should be noted that the mobile medical examination campaign, regularly held since 2021, aims to increase access to quality healthcare services for residents of remote villages, promote early diagnosis of diseases, and foster a culture of preventive examinations. To date, during these campaigns, a total of over 2400 Dashkasan residents have benefited from 9363 services.
It should be recalled that the small, medium, and large-scale social projects implemented by “AzerGold” CJSC in the regions where its production facilities are located primarily cover environmental protection, education, health, employment growth, promotion of small and medium-sized entrepreneurship, promotion of sports, public awareness, and other important areas.
