A sociological survey was conducted in Armenia at the initiative of the opposition, but its results have not been published.
Modern.az reports that the “Hraparak” newspaper has obtained some information regarding the survey.
According to the information, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan maintains a stable support of 12%. That many respondents participating in the survey are ready to vote for him under any circumstances. It is claimed that approximately 60% of the survey participants stated that they would not support Pashinyan under any circumstances.
75% of survey participants expressed dissatisfaction with the government's work and believe that the country is heading in the wrong direction.
According to the rating, Pashinyan is followed by Samvel Karapetyan, the head of the “Tashir” Group of Companies and a Russian oligarch currently in prison, with approximately 10% support, but this indicator decreases when the name of the party he founded is mentioned.
Robert Kocharyan holds the third place with approximately 6% of the results. Other well-known political organizations, including Serzh Sargsyan's Republican Party, do not gain more than 1-1.5%.
As can be seen, in all cases, no matter how much Nikol Pashinyan's rating drops, he still surpasses the opposition. It is precisely for this reason that the opposition is reported not to have disclosed the survey results.
