Turkish citizen spreading disinformation about Azerbaijan detained.
Modern.az reports that a user named “Tuğberk” on "X" social media had become the center of discussions for spreading false information regarding the 80th session of the UN General Assembly. He had made fake posts claiming that Azerbaijani officials watched and applauded Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech on the Palestine issue.
After the issue generated public resonance, the individual was detained by the police upon returning to Turkey from Spain. He announced on his "X" account that he was released after his statement was taken.
