Samvel Karapetyan's detention period has been extended

The detention period of Armenian businessman Samvel Karapetyan has been extended for another 30 days.

Modern.az reports that this decision was made by Armenia's Anti-Corruption Court.

Samvel Karapetyan was detained on charges of attempting to overthrow Nikol Pashinyan's government. He is considered the main opposition against the ruling power.
