The winner of the October 19 presidential elections held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Tufan Erhurman, will begin his duties this Friday.
This was stated by Tufan Erhurman's press secretary, Tunay Mertekçi, in a statement to Modern.az.
The press secretary answered our question regarding Azerbaijan as follows:
"Unfortunately, we cannot say anything yet. We will announce our thoughts on this starting next week".
It should be noted that elections were held in Northern Cyprus on October 19. The Supreme Election Commission announced that Tufan Erhürman was elected president. Ersin Tatar, supported by Turkey, came in second in the elections.
