Former MP and former governor of the Syunik region, Vahe Hakobyan, has been declared wanted.
Modern.az, citing Armenian media, reports that the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office has released information regarding this.
"Vahe Hakobyan, accused within the framework of the criminal case initiated under Article 277, Part 2, Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code (abuse of official powers or influence arising in the private sector, especially when causing significant property damage) and Article 296, Paragraph 3 (especially large-scale money laundering), was declared wanted on October 31, 2025," - states the announcement of the Prosecutor General's Office.
