The annual “Leonid” meteor shower will peak on Monday. During this period, up to 15 meteors per hour may be visible in the sky with the naked eye.
Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that the “Leonids” will be active from November 6 to 30.
One of the best observations will occur this year. The “Leonid” strikes Earth at a speed of approximately 70 kilometers per second.
Such speed often creates bright meteors or fireballs. Some of them leave persistent trails.
