As a result of Russia's air attack on November 14, the building of the Azerbaijani embassy in Ukraine was also damaged. The fence of the embassy territory was destroyed, and structures, service vehicles, the administrative building, and the consular department were damaged.
Modern.az investigated whether the damage to our embassy has been eliminated.
Elshad Ibrahimov, Executive Director of the Rada of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine, stated in his statement to our website that the damage to the embassy building has been eliminated:
"As a diaspora, we have been with our ambassador and embassy staff since the first day of the incident. The Azerbaijani state covered all expenses itself and eliminated the damage. Our state has provided its material and moral support to our embassy. As you know, a large fire broke out in the area, and technical equipment and vehicles were damaged. The cleaning of the area and communal services were promptly carried out by the Kyiv City Administration."
