Russia's “liberal journalists” have suddenly started speaking about the Karabakh issue one after another.
Aleksey Venediktov, editor-in-chief of Russia's famous “Echo of Moscow” radio, suddenly appeared in Armenia. He gave an interview, stating that “Russia does not believe the Karabakh issue has been resolved”.
Today, another famous Russian journalist, Oleg Kashin, shared a provocative status.
Who incited them to voice these opinions, as well as whether their entry into our country will be banned hereafter, are noteworthy nuances.
In a statement to Modern.az, Milli Majlis deputy Azer Badamov stated that today the Armenian authorities have also accepted the realities created by Azerbaijan and say, "Karabakh is Azerbaijan!":
"Azerbaijan has fundamentally and permanently resolved the Karabakh issue. Even the Armenian authorities have accepted the realities we have created and say, "Karabakh is Azerbaijan!" Unfortunately, however, those who do not wish for stability, cooperation, and development to come to our region claim that the Karabakh issue has not been resolved. What they think does not concern us. Azerbaijan has ensured the integrity of its sovereign territories, and our victorious soldier protects our borders like the apple of his eye. Furthermore, our state is rebuilding and restoring Karabakh, returning former internally displaced persons to their native lands. Even today, the Khojaly organization of YAP held an event in Karabakh for the first time dedicated to the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty,” and I participated there with great pride as a member of the Board. For us, the main issue is to see the happiness on the faces of the people who have returned to Khojaly and other liberated territories. As for any country thinking that the Karabakh issue has not been resolved, let them create a "Karabakh" in their own territories and settle Armenians there. That is their business. Azerbaijan is an independent, sovereign country where constitutional rights have been restored in all its territories. Including, Karabakh is Azerbaijan!"
The deputy stated the importance of banning the entry of those journalists into Azerbaijan:
"No one attempting to cast a shadow on our country's territorial integrity should be allowed into Azerbaijan!".
