The prices of a group of medicines have been regulated.
According to information provided to Modern.az by the Tariff Council, at the meeting of the Tariff Council, the upper limit of prices for 237 newly state-registered medicinal products was approved, the upper limit of prices for 5 medicinal products was reduced, and in order to ensure reliable supply, changes were made to the upper limit of prices for 53 medicinal products in accordance with the Rules approved by Decision No. 209 of the Cabinet of Ministers dated June 3, 2015, and the Instruction approved by the Decision of the Tariff (Price) Council dated July 21, 2015.
Taking into account the trade name, pharmaceutical form, name of the active substance, dosage, commercial packaging, quantity, and country of origin, the full list of medicinal products for which the upper price limits have been approved has been posted on the official website of the Tariff (Price) Council (www.tariff.gov.az) in the “Medicinal Products” section (//tariff.gov.az/documents/DVA.pdf).
The decisions come into force on January 1, 2026.
