Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, together with Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan, visited Kirants village, located in the Tavush region on the border with Azerbaijan.

Modern.az reports that this was stated in the information provided by the Information and Public Relations Department of the Prime Minister's Office.

Pashinyan and Simonyan met with citizens. They also toured defense-engineering structures. Subsequently, they visited a section of the delimited state border between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan and familiarized themselves with the work carried out there.

Nikol Pashinyan noted that the purpose of the visit is to present the government's vision regarding the ensuring of Armenia's security. The Prime Minister emphasized that in this section of the border, servicemen  perform their duties without helmets or armor, similar to the Azerbaijani side.

Pashinyan stated that there were 90 houses in Kirants before the delimitation.

“Today, as part of the government's $16 million program, another 60 houses are being built here," Nikol Pashinyan emphasized. He added that this means people see and feel that the environment there is safe and that peace is a reality.

Pashinyan stated that this reality means “Real Armenia.” Explaining what he meant by "Real Armenia," the Prime Minister emphasized that its main component is legitimacy.

Nikol Pashinyan also visited the newly built primary school and church in Kirants village.
