British Ambassador to Azerbaijan Fergus Auld shared a New Year's video message summarizing the main events in bilateral relations in 2025.
Modern.az reports that at the beginning of the video, F. Auld noted that this is his last address as British Ambassador to Azerbaijan.
"The main event of the year was the decision by Minister of State Stephen Doughty and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to elevate our relations to a new level through the signing of the Strategic Partnership Agreement. In December, Lord Vernon Coaker, Minister of State for Defence of the United Kingdom, and John Alderdice, Trade Envoy of the United Kingdom to Azerbaijan and Central Asia and member of the House of Lords, held bilateral meetings dedicated to defence and security, trade and investments, as well as education and innovations," the ambassador stated.
