Rauf Gurbanov, Chairman of the Communist Party of Azerbaijan, who served until 2023, spoke about the operation conducted by the US in Venezuela.
In a statement to Modern.az, former party chairman Rauf Gurbanov emphasized that the steps taken by the US should be strongly condemned:
“As a communist, I believe that this action by the US against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela should be strongly condemned and evaluated as a blatant interference in the internal affairs of an independent state.”
It should be noted that on January 3, the US army conducted a 2-hour operation in Venezuela, capturing the country's president Nicolas Maduro and his wife and taking them to the US.
