Such incidents have caused serious concern in society, bringing to the forefront questions regarding the quality of medicinal preparations used in medical institutions, the rules for administering injections, and the adequacy of medical supervision.

Regarding the issue, Rashad Mahmudov, a member of the Health Committee of the Milli Majlis, stated in his declaration to Modern.az that there are currently no complete, confirmed, and official facts presented to the public. In such cases, it is incorrect to express a definitive opinion without disclosing the causes of the incident, medical details, expert examination, and legal assessment. Drawing conclusions based on preliminary information can both send a wrong message to society and harm the investigation process:

“At the same time, it should be noted that complications occurring after an injection in individuals who seek medical attention at a hospital or emergency room due to high fever or any other complaint can be related to many medical reasons. Automatically attributing such cases to an incorrectly administered injection, and voicing this in the public sphere without official medical expertise and evidence, is not consistent with a scientific and professional approach.

The cause of the incident can only be objectively assessed after clinical data, laboratory indicators, the characteristics of the preparation used, the patient's pre-existing condition, and the forensic medical examination report. For this reason, I do not consider it correct to attribute responsibility to a specific medical intervention before the facts are clarified and official results are announced”.

Infectious disease specialist Amina Ismikhanova stated in her declaration to Modern.az that the cause of the problem is not an incorrectly administered drug or an overdose.

It is impossible to know in advance whether a drug is suitable for a patient.

Sometimes a patient has certain pre-existing reactions. For example, they know they have an allergy to a particular antibiotic. However, there are also patients who either have not consulted a doctor at all, or have consulted one, but that specific medication has not been used until now.

In such cases, anaphylactic shock can suddenly occur in the patient at the moment the drug is administered, and the patient may lose their life. Even if all medical assistance is provided, sometimes the outcome does not change.

That is, there is a factor here of the p's reaction to the drug. The p can go into shock, exhibit a strong allergic reaction, and death can occur. Unfortunately, it is not entirely possible to prevent such cases in advance.
