Currently, 2,898 women in Azerbaijan receive social benefits for more than five children.
Modern.az reports that this was stated to "Report" by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population.
It was noted that, according to legislation, for women who have given birth to and raised more than five children, this right is granted when the child who led to the creation of this right reaches 1 year of age, provided that the children are alive.
The amount of the benefit is 140 manats for each child.
