At UNEC, a hackathon was held in collaboration with “İBİ” LLC and the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA), where students competed with innovative ideas.
Modern.az reports that in the hackathon, UNEC students presented creative and digital solutions to real problems on the topics of “B2B Solutions” and “Green Karabakh”.
The “B2B Solutions” hackathon was dedicated to solving business problems in a corporate environment. 15 teams consisting of 60 students who passed the selection stage participated in the competition. As a result of intense and competitive struggle, the teams “Enthuzone”, “Savai” and “ITeaguys”, consisting of students from the Faculty of Digital Economy, won by taking the first three places.
The “Green Karabakh” hackathon, held in parallel, was organized on the topic of ecological sustainability and innovative approaches. In this direction, 15 teams consisting of 67 students worked on real problems in line with the “Green Karabakh” concept, developing ecological and innovative projects. Based on the evaluation of the jury, the teams “Explogreen”, “SustainX” and “EcoWatch” were declared winners.
During the hackathon, participants transformed their ideas into technological solutions, presented their projects to a professional jury, and demonstrated both their teamwork and problem-solving skills.
At the end of the hackathon, the winning teams were awarded:
I place – 4000 AZN,
II place – 2500 AZN,
III place – 1000 AZN.
