38-year-old Sakhavat Karimov, who was illegally possessing firearms and ammunition, was apprehended during measures carried out by employees of the Siyazan District Police Department.
According to information from Modern.az, one sawn-off shotgun and 4 cartridges were discovered on him.
During another operation, 32-year-old Nusrat Gafarov, who had been previously convicted, was detained. Heroin, a psychotropic substance methamphetamine, and methadone pills were discovered on this individual.
Criminal cases have been initiated regarding both incidents, and by court decision, a pre-trial detention measure has been chosen for the detained individuals.
