5 kg of marijuana were discovered from a person suspected of drug courier activities in Baku.

It was reported that employees of the 18th Police Department of the Narimanov District Police Department conducted an operation against the illegal circulation of narcotics. During the operation, 35-year-old Baku resident Orkhan Muslumov, who had been previously convicted, was detained. 5 kilograms and 700 grams of marijuana were discovered from him.
O. Muslumov stated in his testimony that he had obtained the narcotics from an Iranian citizen, whose identity is unknown to the investigation and whom he met on social networks, with the aim of selling them in the capital.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the fact, and investigations are ongoing.
