An armed incident occurred in Yevlakh.
According to Modern.az, during the incident, 39-year-old Zaur Samadov injured the leg area of a 46-year-old acquaintance with a registered hunting rifle on the grounds of hooliganism. Z. Samadov was detained by police officers.
A criminal case has been initiated at the Yevlakh District Police Department regarding the incident, and an investigation is underway.
Zaur Samadov is reported to be the son of Qoca Samadov, the former head of the Yevlakh Executive Power.
It should be recalled that Qoca Samadov, the former head of the Yevlakh Executive Power, was arrested by the State Security Service in 2019. The former head of the executive power, who was accused of official crimes, was conditionally released from the unserved part of his sentence in July 2023 due to his health.
