Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan is preparing for a visit to Russia.
Modern.az reports that he stated this in a conversation with journalists.
Simonyan noted that the exact date has not yet been determined, but the invitation has already been received.
"Madam Matviyenko recently visited us, and I received an invitation for a reciprocal visit. We also spoke on the occasion of her birthday. We did not discuss the details of the visit; the dates have not yet been clarified," Simonyan said.
He added that the visit will be official.
