Baku Metro will operate on a modified work schedule on January 21 in connection with “Qarabağ” Football Club's UEFA Champions League match.
This was reported to Modern.az by the Metro.
According to the information, upon the request of the Azerbaijan Football Federations Association (AFFA) and in accordance with the operational plan of “Baku Metro” CJSC related to cultural and mass events held in the capital, the working hours of the metro will be extended.
Taking into account the fan interest in the match to be held at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium, all stations will be open for passenger entry until 01:00 on the night of January 21-22.
Stations will operate in an enhanced mode, and additional workforce will be allocated by drawing up a duty schedule.
After the match, to ensure comfortable and safe transportation of passengers to their destinations, special control measures will be taken at “Gənclik”, as well as “28 May” and “Nərimanov” stations.
Although train movements will be regulated according to the autumn-winter schedule throughout the day, reserve trains will be kept ready for deployment.
