The US Embassy has offered condolences on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of the January 20 tragedy.
Modern.az reports that in the embassy's post on its “X” account, it is stated:
“Today, together with the people of Azerbaijan, we respectfully commemorate the heroic Azerbaijanis who lost their lives during the Soviet repression on January 20, 1990, and offer our deepest condolences to the families remembering their loved ones on this sorrowful day.”
