The Armenian Parliament has adopted in the second reading a bill proposing January 27 as the "Day of Remembrance for Those Who Died for the Defense of the Homeland."
Modern.az reports that in the project prepared by Parliament Vice-Speaker Ruben Rubinyan and MP Gegham Nazaryan, January 27 will be established as a non-working day.
After the adoption of the law, Ruben Rubinyan stated: "At our request, the president will sign the law as soon as possible so that it comes into force this year, therefore January 27 will be a non-working day."
