Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's confession regarding the January 20 tragedy, made 28 years ago, has resurfaced.

Modern.az reports that that confession was published in the “Mollak” newspaper, which was printed in Armenia at that time, while Pashinyan was working as a journalist.

On February 11, 1998, Nikol Pashinyan, in his article titled “Armenians and Azerbaijanis - Happy Peoples”, stated that Armenians had problems in their way of thinking. He wrote that this disorder of thought manifests itself more clearly when the death of innocent Azerbaijanis and Turks is discussed.

Regarding the tragic January 20 events in Baku on January 20, 1990, Pashinyan wrote the following: "I bow my head before the souls of those who died in Baku, the innocent people murdered in the streets. I commemorated the victims in Baku on January 20 with a moment of silence".
