On January 20, 2026, a phone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Hakan Fidan.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Modern.az, during the phone conversation, bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, as well as cooperation within international organizations, was discussed.
In addition, regional security issues, the situation in the Middle East, as well as an exchange of views on the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process were held.
