“After the strikes on energy infrastructure, we are receiving the next humanitarian aid package, which is of great importance to us, especially during the winter period,” he noted in a statement to journalists.
Yuri Gusev expressed his gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and the Azerbaijani people, emphasizing that the support provided will never be forgotten.
It should be noted that today, the next consignment of cargo containing electrotechnical equipment has been sent to Ukraine.
The humanitarian cargo includes a total of 12 low-voltage panels, 11 generators, 5 transformers, and 27,000 meters of cables and wires. The total value of the aid, organized at the request of the Ukrainian side, is 1 million US dollars.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan has previously sent humanitarian aid related to electricity supply to Ukraine. The total value of our country's overall humanitarian support to Ukraine, including aid for restoration and reconstruction, has already exceeded 45 million US dollars.
