In the Sabail district of the capital, a wallet belonging to one of the citizens, containing 220 manats and a bank card, was stolen.
Modern.az reports that, with measures taken by police officers, 34-year-old N. Islamov, suspected of committing the act, was detained. Investigations revealed that he had stolen the wallet of the victim, who was a passenger on the bus he was driving, and subsequently made purchases with the bank card.
As a result of another measure carried out in the capital, 27-year-old T. Guliyev, suspected of stealing from one of the citizens' bank cards, was also identified and detained.
Investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
