Lefkoşa MP and former Speaker of the Assembly Zorlu Töre made important statements regarding the agenda on the program “Net Baxış 360 Dərəcə” broadcast on MediaTürk TV with Serdar Şengül as host.
Modern.az reports that the program discussed the flag-lowering provocation that occurred in Turkey and the views expressed by Russian philosopher Aleksandr Dugin regarding the Turkic world. Zorlu Töre emphasized that such actions directed against national values are unacceptable.
Stating that the Turkish flag is a sacred symbol for the Turkish nation, Töre noted that millions of people with Turkish names and surnames live in Turkey, and any disrespect shown towards the flag causes serious concern in society. He stated that such provocations benefit no one, but actions directed against national symbols will not be met with silence.
In his speech, Zorlu Töre also sharply criticized the views expressed by Russian philosopher Aleksandr Dugin regarding states belonging to the Turkic world. Stating that these declarations are unacceptable, Töre emphasized that Turkic states liberated from Russian rule are today strengthening politically, economically, and militarily.
“As soon as the phrase 'Turkic States' is uttered, some power centers become uneasy. Imperialist circles, acting with the thought of 'How can we fragment them?', come into play,” Töre stated. According to him, Turkic states must be vigilant against such games and not be deceived by external influences.
Continuing his speech, Töre also touched upon the future roadmap of the Turkic world, stating that the slogan “Unity in language, thought, and action” holds even greater importance today. Noting that the world is moving away from a unipolar system, Töre said that the global order is transitioning to a multipolar phase.
“Today there is the European Union, there are the United States of America, there is the Arab League. However, when it comes to the unity of Turks, they resort to all kinds of methods to fragment us,” Zorlu Töre emphasized.
The program concluded with extensive discussions on the future of the Turkic world, regional balances, and national sensitivities.
