A strong earthquake occurred in Russia's Kamchatka region.

Modern.az reports that the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences released information regarding this.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 is reported to have been recorded off the coast of Kamchatka.

In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, considered the central city of the region, the earthquake was felt at a magnitude of 4.

There is no information about destruction and casualties.
