8 foreigners were sentenced to life imprisonment - reason

The Dubai court of the United Arab Emirates has sentenced 8 citizens of Uzbekistan to life imprisonment for a mass brawl.

Modern.az reports that the incident occurred in the UAE in the spring of 2025. Two citizens of Uzbekistan died in the clash. Dubai police later detained 11 participants of the brawl.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, 8 people were sentenced to life imprisonment, and 1 person was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
