Information was received by the Ministry of Emergency Situations' “112” hotline about a fire breaking out in a car repair shop on M. Rustamov street, Khatai district, Baku city.
Modern.az reports that, in connection with the information, forces of the State Fire Protection Service of the MES were immediately deployed to the area.
While assessing the operational situation at the scene, it was determined that the fire occurred in a car repair shop consisting of 12 adjoining boxes and that the risk of spread was high.
Thanks to the swift intervention of firefighters, the fire was extinguished in a short time, without allowing it to spread, including to the boxes and the furniture shop located in the area.
As a result of the fire, the combustible structures of a guard booth with a total area of 5 sq.m. and a “VAZ-2107” brand passenger car undergoing repair in the shop area were burned.
The car repair shop, the adjacent furniture shop, and other vehicles parked in the area were protected from the fire.
No injuries were reported.
