Within the framework of mutually beneficial cooperation established between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Central Bank, cyber risks are systematically analyzed, and the informing of bank customers is ensured.

From the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it was reported to Modern.az that as a result of measures taken last year, 372 fake websites, links, and redirects were identified and blocked from suspicious internet resources used for phishing purposes in the online space. This has had a significant impact on reducing cases of illegal interference with bank cards.

Analyses show that when bank card users encounter suspicious transactions, in cases where they inform their bank without delay, preventive measures are effective and the theft of funds on the card is prevented. At this time, the direction of interference with the bank card is promptly identified, and risks are neutralized.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs once again advises bank card users that when they encounter any suspicious transaction, unknown link, or fake internet resource, they should immediately contact their bank and police authorities and not be indifferent to such cases. This is of great importance in ensuring both personal financial security and overall cyber security.
