Armenian oligarch enters into a deal with Azerbaijan

Former member of the Armenian parliament, oligarch Samvel Aleksanyan is negotiating sugar imports from Azerbaijan.

Modern.az reports, citing Armenian media, that he plans to import sugar from Azerbaijan to Armenia in the near future, as well as purchase fourth-grade grain and diesel fuel.

The newspaper notes that the company importing grain belongs to Aleksanyan, while the company importing gasoline from Azerbaijan is Shisha World, owned by Samvel Mkrtchyan, the businessman's wife's brother.
