In accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, the Great Return process to the territories liberated from occupation has been continued.
It was reported to Modern.az by the Committee that those relocating to Kərkicahan settlement of Khankendi city, Xanyurdu and Təzəbinə villages of Khojaly district, and Həsənriz village of Aghdara district are families who were temporarily settled in various regions of the republic, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.
In this phase, 5 families - 25 people were relocated to Kərkicahan settlement of Khankendi city, 6 families - 24 people to Xanyurdu village of Khojaly district, 8 families - 41 people to Təzəbinə village, and 10 families - 52 people to Həsənriz village of Aghdara district. The residents returning to their native lands expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for being surrounded by comprehensive state care.
They also thanked the valiant Azerbaijani Army that liberated our lands from occupation, and our heroic soldiers and officers, and prayed for mercy from Allah for our martyrs who sacrificed their lives on this path.
