A robbery crime was recorded in the Khatai district of the capital.
According to information from Modern.az, an unknown person stole 600 manats, a mobile phone, a tablet, and other items from the car of a resident of the capital.
As a result of measures taken by police officers, 55-year-old I. Khudiyev, who was suspected of committing the incident and had been previously convicted multiple times, was identified and detained.
Investigations revealed that he stood in front of one of the markets located in the district and observed citizens approaching the cash register. He then saw one of these individuals placing their money and valuable items into their bag and approached them at the exit under the pretext of “offering help” and accompanied them to their car. While placing the bag in the trunk, he committed the act of theft. The moment the incident occurred was also captured by security cameras.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
