A forum for Samukh youth was held at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Samukh district, jointly organized by the Samukh District Executive Power, the Samukh district organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), and the youth and sports sector for Samukh district of the Ganja-Dashkasan Regional Youth and Sports Department, on the occasion of “February 2 – Azerbaijani Youth Day”, with the participation of young people actively involved in the public-political and social life of the district.
Modern.az reports that the event was attended by Head of Samukh District Executive Power Firdovsi Aliyev, Chairman of the YAP Samukh district organization Gündüz Bayramov, employees of the Samukh District Executive Power, young employees working in the district's departments, organizations, and enterprises, and young volunteers actively participating in the public-political and social life of the district.
Before the official part of the event, the event participants laid wreaths at the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and respectfully commemorated his memory.
Before the event, the dear memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our lands was honored with a minute of silence, and the State Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played. Subsequently, a video clip dedicated to “February 2 – Azerbaijani Youth Day” was watched.
Speaking at the event, Firdovsi Aliyev, Head of Samukh District Executive Power, congratulated the event participants on the occasion of “February 2 – Azerbaijani Youth Day” and stated that today, the proper upbringing of the young generation holds an important place in the country's policy. The state youth policy, the foundation of which was laid by National Leader Heydar Aliyev, is successfully continued by President Mr. Ilham Aliyev. The Head of the Executive Power stated that today, every Azerbaijani youth should always be guided by the ideas of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in their activities. Projects implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation under the leadership of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, aimed at revealing the talents and abilities of young people, are a reliable guarantee for the future of the rising generation. The successful implementation of policies related to this field in our country has created broad opportunities for young people to apply their knowledge and skills in all spheres of life.
Subsequently, the speakers congratulated the youth on the holiday and wished them success.
In conclusion, young people actively participating in the public-political activities of Samukh district were awarded Honorary Decrees and letters of appreciation from the Samukh District Executive Power.
