In Surakhani district, on Airport highway (near "Buta Palace"), demolition work has commenced on a part of the metal structure supporting electronic information-speed boards that have completed their operational lifespan.
Modern.az reports that the Intellectual Transport Management Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has issued a statement regarding this.
It was stated that, for this reason, a restriction has been imposed on the movement of vehicles from Airport road (from Airport bridge) towards "Koroglu" metro station. Drivers coming from Mardakan highway are being redirected towards Zigh highway as an alternative route.
During the period of the restriction, necessary measures are being taken by the traffic police to ensure the smooth movement of vehicles.
