In the territory of Nasimi district of the capital, one of the citizens appealed to the police regarding a theft from his store. With measures carried out by employees of the 20th Police Department of Nasimi District Police Department, 58-year-old I.Safarli, suspected of committing the act, was identified and detained.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed Modern.az that I.Safarli was determined to have entered the premises at night, taking advantage of the store's door being left open.
"A similar incident was recorded in the territory of Narimanov district as well. Thus, the victims appealed to the police regarding the theft of water meters. With measures carried out by employees of the 17th Police Department of Narimanov District Police Department, T.Mammadov, suspected of stealing the meters, was detained.
An investigation is being conducted in connection with the matter,-the information states.
