The month of Ramadan is a period of both spiritual and physical renewal. Proper nutrition during fasting helps the p stay energetic throughout the day and maintain health. One of the most important aspects during this period is maintaining water balance. Drinking enough water between Iftar and Imsak, as well as prioritizing liquid-rich foods, prevents dehydration. It is more advisable to break the fast with lukewarm water.

Modern.az reports that AQTA has issued information on this matter.

Imsak must be observed, as proper morning nutrition maintains energy and water balance throughout the day. Satiating foods such as oats, rice, or bulgur, as well as protein sources like eggs and cheese, can be chosen. Vegetables and fruits, being fibrous, both create a feeling of fullness and reduce thirst.

It is important to eat without rushing during Iftar. After drinking water, dates, olives, or a light salad can be consumed. Transitioning to the main meal after a short break does not overload the digestive system. It is more beneficial to start the meal with liquid foods like soup.

During Ramadan, it is recommended to avoid very fatty, fried, pastry dishes, and meals with heavy sauces. Fermented dairy products such as yogurt, kefir, and ayran improve digestion.

After Iftar, it is more advisable to divide meals into several stages, eating in small portions and slowly. Thorough chewing of food prevents digestive problems. Taking a light walk in the evening and paying attention to sleep patterns also helps to have a more comfortable Ramadan.
