In 2025, 95,875 live births were registered by the district (city) registration departments of the Ministry of Justice, and compared to 2024, this indicator per 1000 population decreased from 10.0 to 9.4.
Modern.az reports that this is reflected in the State Statistical Committee's publication reflecting the macroeconomic indicators of the country's economic and social development.
Of the live births, 53.1 percent were boys and 46.9 percent were girls. Of the infants, 3,170 were twins and 117 were triplets.
