Within the framework of joint cooperation between the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription and the Agency for Innovation and Digital Development under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, citizens can now conveniently, quickly, and securely access a number of their military information through the "mygov" platform.
According to information provided to Modern.az by the Service, based on the new service offered, the initial military registration of male citizens who will turn 15 in 2026 is now also carried out through this platform. For this, a parent or legal representative of a citizen of pre-conscription age must enter the "Services" section, navigate to the "Military" sub-section, and then select "Initial military registration". In the new window that opens, they must click on "New application" and select the box displaying the name, surname, and patronymic of their child who turns 15 in the current year. In the next stage, it is necessary to write a short biography of the child or attach it as a file (in PDF or image format), upload the relevant certificate for those who received their secondary education abroad, and also provide a mobile number.
Parallel to this process, a notification regarding the child's medical examinations is sent to the parent's "mygov" cabinet. After undergoing the examination, the citizen of pre-conscription age must approach the military medical commission of the Service's structural unit where they are to be registered for military service for a physical inspection.
To ensure the transparency of the process, parents can track the status of the application they submitted from their personal cabinets, and at the same time, a notification is sent to them after the initial military registration process is completed.
For information, it should be noted that the initial military registration certificate (paper-based) has been abolished as of this year, and this process is carried out exclusively through the "mygov" platform.
It should be noted that Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, spoke about the importance of this platform for both state institutions and citizens at a meeting dedicated to the unified action plan titled "Azerbaijan's New Digital Architecture". According to the head of state, this platform will provide significant advantages for citizens. All services required by citizens will be provided from a single address.
For the State Service, the electronic provision of services to citizens is also one of the priority issues, and work in this direction is ongoing. The reforms and innovations carried out in this area aim to increase transparency in service activities, prevent corruption offenses, ensure citizen satisfaction, as well as timely and quality manning of the Armed Forces with healthy conscripts, and enhance the efficiency of the mobilization system.
