Rufat Gasimzade, who introduced himself as the son-in-law of the late People's Artist Ramiz Azizbayli, is accused of fraud against a citizen.
Modern.az reports that Elshan Mahmudbayli published a video message about this on his social media account. He stated that he was involved in the gold business with individuals named Rufat Gasimzade, Boran Gasimzade, and Mammad Mammadov. According to him, these individuals took 50,000 dollars from him and made promises:
"After a while, it became clear that the promises made were false. Rufat Gasimzade informed me that 5 kilograms of gold were seized at customs at the airport in Turkey. However, he promised to repay the debt. I also spoke with the daughters of People's Artist Ramiz Azizbayli about the matter. Although they also said the damage would be compensated, the damage has not been compensated."
Elbrus Ibrahimov, an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Press Service, told APA that an investigation is underway at the Yasamal District Police Department regarding the appeal: "Appropriate procedural measures will be ensured regarding the dispute between the parties through investigations."
