It is alleged that a group of female students studying at the Faculty of Law of Baku State University (BSU) had their photos on social networks used without permission.

An unknown individual prepared photos taken from the students' “TikTok” profiles with fake montages and published them on the platform. The victims stated that they had reported the matter to the police.

According to allegations, the individual demanded money in exchange for deleting the images. Based on an audio recording, his age is estimated to be between 20-25.

According to allegations, when the students offered money for the deletion of the videos, the unknown individual stated that he did not do it for financial gain. It is presumed that he had previously wanted to be admitted to the Faculty of Law but did not achieve the required score, and therefore acted with prejudice against law students.

In response to an inquiry from Modern.az regarding the incident, Baku State University stated that the students had appealed to law enforcement agencies concerning the matter.

According to information obtained from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, an investigation is being conducted by police officers regarding this.
