Admission of cadets to the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the 2026/2027 academic year at the bachelor's degree level of education is announced.
Information on this matter was provided to Modern.az by the ministry.
It was stated that the academy provides training in the specialties of "Life Safety Engineering" and "Fire Safety Engineering".
The duration of study is 4 years. Education is conducted in the full-time department based on state order. Instruction is carried out in Azerbaijani.
The Academy's training facilities, equipped with necessary equipment, specialized auditoriums, laboratories, special subject classrooms, and libraries, where modern teaching methods are applied, are at the disposal of cadets.
Persons admitted to the Academy are provided with meals, special uniforms, and dormitory accommodation during their studies, and receive scholarships.
Graduates of the Academy are awarded a "bachelor's" higher professional qualification degree, military or special ranks corresponding to their chosen specialty, and are appointed to relevant positions in the institutions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Candidates for admission to the Academy are selected from among citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who are not less than 170 cm tall, have completed full secondary education or are studying in the graduating class of a full secondary school, will have completed 17 years of age by September 15, 2026, or have completed their fixed-term active military service and been discharged to the reserve, and will not have completed 23 years of age by September 15, 2026.
The admission examination is conducted by the State Examination Center using a test method, in the first stage covering subjects of graduation examinations, and in the second stage covering the Mathematics-Chemistry subgroup of the I specialty group.
Documents are accepted from March 2 to April 15 (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays) from 10:00 to 17:00 at the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (address: Baku city, Surakhani district, Hovsan settlement, Elman Gasimov street-8).
