Tourists from the US, Israel, and Canada visit our sanatoriums.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Sahib Mammadov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, at today's public hearing of the Milli Majlis Committee on Labor and Social Policy on the topic “Current State and Development Prospects of Tourism in Azerbaijan”.
“A question may arise as to why citizens of developed countries such as the US, Canada, and Israel visit our resort sanatoriums. They are people who, especially during the Soviet era, used these types of sanatoriums and later migrated to and live in those countries.”
S. Mammadov stated that during conversations with them, they report recalling their memories and experiencing nostalgic feelings while resting here.
“They recall that period in our resort sanatoriums and experience nostalgic feelings".
