A driver working in the passenger transportation sector in Sumgait city has encountered an unexpected problem.
Modern.az reports that driver Vidadi Maliyev claims that fines were issued in his name for a bus he did not drive, and as a result, he was deprived of his driving license.
He claims that although he changed his workplace some time ago and started working for another company, the route sheet registered in his name at his previous workplace was not officially cancelled. Precisely for this reason, the electronic system still shows the bus being driven by him.
Regarding the matter, Elshan Mustafayev, a representative of the carrier company, stated that the driver has not yet been officially dismissed. It was revealed that the driver has not submitted a resignation letter either.
The Main State Traffic Police Department stated that in such cases, the parties should apply to the Department.
